The ship will work to a standard merchant navy
watch bill system, divided into six four hour watches.
Cadets will be assigned to one of three watch
teams; each one could expect to be on watch for 6 to 8 hours each day,
with lectures, study, sleep and personal time factored in around this

A tall ship cadet is key to the
operation of their ship: while standing a watch they steer, keep look out
and tend the sails
off watch they work and study, eat
and sleep
and because a tall ship is also a
home they will clean their ship and help with food preparation
